We are excited to offer our Indoor/Outdoor Stroller Moves & Mommy and Me Yoga at the gym facilities at 333 River St. with its lovely view of NYC and the Park. The group exercise class room is located on the 4th floor.  

We are also excited to offer our Prenatal  Pilates & Yoga Class and Momilates (Mommy and Me Pilates) at the Monroe Center for the Arts,  720 Monroe St. Studio E 508 (Harmony Pilates) with free parking in the back.

Fusion Class of Stroller Moves and Momilates

All babies in strollers or in slings are welcome to this class.

Stroller Moves; this fun and upbeat class  is designed to give moms the cardio pick up we need. The rhythm and pace of the class is uplifting and entertaining for you and your baby.  Learn songs to sing to baby and new and fun exercises to do with baby all while working out.  At the end of this session the only  thunder thighs, flabby arms and tummy bulges will be your babies

Momilates; Pilates exercises modified for mommy to incorporate the baby. During the Momilates Class we focus on core (abdominals). The exercises are modified in respect to each mother and to each baby. Class will conclude with a few minutes of baby massage to cool down both mommy and  baby and a promote bonding.

Momilates + Infant/Baby Massage Review

This is the original! Taught by the Momilates DVD instructor, Annie Martens.

Show off your babies chubby thighs and tummy bulge by nipping yours! Learn songs to sing to your baby while exercising. There is a focus on core (or abdominals) in this class. According to research, Pilates exercise need to be modified so that there are no exercises which resemble crunches  (forward flexion of the spine)  and jack knifing of the legs to prevent the diastasis from worsening and your tummy bulge from expanding. Annie Martens has designed a Pilates mat program to do just that.  The class is geared for the long and lean look for you and entertainment and bonding for your baby. Fusion Class of Prenatal Yoga and Prenatal Pilates

This one of a kind workout follows The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and includes modifications that are appropriate for each trimester thereby challenging and motivating pregnant women at all fitness levels.  This class is a great opportunity to integrate strength and flexibility for a renewed sense of power and wellbeing.  Annie Martens (pilates instructor featured in the Maternal Fitness Pilates DVD and Expectant Mothers Guide as well as post partum doula) will take  you through a series of modified pilates exercises which are intended to strengthen your center helping you focus on the muscles used during delivery and the muscles which will help you postpartum for a flatter tummy.  The pilates sequence will also include lower back, upper body and leg exercises designed to help lengthen and strengthen your body as well as help you with the all of the lifting, bouncing, holding , etc. associated with baby care!  The following half hour will include a yoga series to stretch the muscles associated with tightening during pregnancy accompanied with breathing exercises to promote relaxation. This is also a great opportunity to meet other pregnant mothers in the community and receive relative reading materials courtesy of Bella Bellies Studio. To sign up for the class click here!

Mommy and Me Yoga

For mothers and babies (5 weeks to crawling). Mommy and Me Yoga is 60-minute class designed just for moms and their babies. This class will help get mom back in shape while bonding with her new baby. For Mom, the class focuses on regaining alignment, toning the pelvic floor and re-establishing core strength. Babies participate with moms during class with baby engagement exercises. Babies age 5 weeks through crawling are welcome.
